Alliance Project Management Services continues to provide senior resources to NSW Health for the development of new hospitals across the state.  Acting under secondment to Health, key projects delivered to date include the sub-acute bed program ($189m, 469 beds including 160 low acuity mental health beds), the South East Regional Hospital, Bega ($190m, 152 bed hospital), the MPS Program ($300m) and the HealthOne Program ($100m, 20 sites across NSW).

Education

The principal of Alliance Project Management Services, Michael Brooks, spent 5 years working in the Middle East, 3 ½ of which was spent on the $30 billion Education City in Doha, Qatar. As one of 6 key project managers for the planning and design of major projects, Michael completed over $1.5 billion worth of key education infrastructure in the country.

Events Industry

Alliance Project Management Services provided a senior resource to the Olympic Coordination Authority for the Sydney 2000 Olympics. Working on the Common Domain of Sydney Olympic Park, which saw peak days of more than 500,000 people move through delivered spaces, provided an insight into the “biggest event in the world”. The Olympics led to further opportunities to work on events, with that same resource being in Doha, Qatar for 18 months providing project management support for the $200m Opening and Closing Ceremony of the Doha Asian Games.

Alliance Project Management Services continues to provide events staff for the purpose of fundraising, events coordination and promotions. We have a number of full and part time staff that support the Not for Profit Sector in fundraising and event coordination tasks.

Environment

Alliance Project Management Services also provided resources to Sydney Olympic Park Authority. Working on the Millennium Parkland Project for almost 2 years, saw a wide range of parkland and environment projects completed. This included environmental remediation sites and parkland projects. Today these sites are as they were planned and used by hundreds of thousands of people each year.

Sports & Recreation

Aside from the provision of resources for the Olympics and Doha Asian Games, Alliance Project Management provided
senior resource to NSW Sport and Recreation for approximately 4 years. Working on all Sport and Recreational facilities across NSW, the services involved the delivery of capital, minor works and maintenance programs.

A key current client is Police Citizens Youth Club (PCYC), whereby Alliance Project Management Services provides specialist project management, events and planning services. These resources assist PCYC in the deliver of their capital program. To date 2 major new facilities have been delivered, with hundreds of minor works and grants projects also having been completed.
